TOY MASTERS AVAILABLE TO STREAM!

TOY MASTERS, the hour and a half documentary about the creation of Mattel’s He-Man toy line is now available for streaming on Vimeo.

TOY MASTERS from directors Corey Landis and Roger Lay, Jr.

The documentary started production in 2011 when 2 filmmaker friends were curious about how their favorite childhood toy came about. They soon discovered that a rivalry for credit and constant head-butting between a toy company and TV production company led to a lot of animosity between most of the creative artists behind the He-Man Masters of the Universe franchise. For a period of 3-4 years the filmmakers were on the case to uncover who really created He-Man, help the designers reconcile, spotlight the creativity and success of He-Man and finally bring its story to the fans.

Toy Masters screened at festivals & conventions in the US including a special 2-day He-Man event at LA’s Egyptian Theater in 2015 but hasn’t been available to the public until now.
